The Feathers Association is profoundly honoured to have been named Charity of the Year – Westminster at the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Chamber of Commerce Awards 2025, held at the distinguished Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.
This prestigious accolade recognises organisations that make an exceptional contribution to local life across the three boroughs. For Feathers, it celebrates over 90 years of dedicated service, leadership and opportunity – and affirms our continued commitment to empowering young people, supporting families, and enriching the communities of Westminster and beyond.

Reflecting on the award, Chief Executive David Jones shared:
“This recognition means a great deal to everyone connected with The Feathers Association. It is a testament to the passion, consistency and care shown by our staff, volunteers and supporters, and, most importantly, it celebrates the remarkable young people and communities who make The Feathers Association such a special charity. They remain at the heart of everything we do.”
Michelle Vorel-Adams, Director of Business and Innovation, added:
“We are immensely proud of what this award represents – not only for our dedicated team but also for the young people, families and partners who grow and thrive with us. For more than 90 years, The Feathers Association has been a cornerstone of opportunity and community spirit, and this honour reminds us that our mission continues to evolve, inspire and lead.”

Over the past year, The Feathers Association has delivered an ambitious and diverse programme of youth and community initiatives across Marylebone and the wider Westminster area – from after-school enrichment and sports to mentoring, creative arts, skills development and large-scale community events.
Each week, hundreds of young people and residents engage with Feathers Marylebone, finding a trusted space to learn, connect and aspire. This award reflects their achievements as much as our own.
As The Feathers Association looks to the future, this recognition stands as both a celebration and a catalyst – reaffirming our commitment to deepening partnerships, expanding our reach and continuing to respond to the evolving needs of local young people.
“Awards such as this are a privilege,” said David. “But our greatest reward is the difference we make in people’s lives. This honour strengthens our resolve to go further – to reach more young people, empower more families and continue shaping a community where every young person can flourish.”
The Feathers Association extends warm congratulations to all the outstanding charities, businesses and community organisations recognised at this year’s Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Chamber of Commerce Awards. It was a truly inspiring evening that celebrated leadership, collaboration and community impact across London.
